Today we had the closing session for InRes 2014. This was a hugely positive experience for the Displr team. It helped us working towards the consolidation of our business model, make a first contact with the US market and explore partnerships involving the entrepreneurial and research community at Carnegie Mellon University.
The six weeks immersion period in Pittsburgh was a unique opportunity to work within the entrepreneurship eco-system of one of the top world Universities. This mentoring was very important in prompting the evolution of our concept from an early focus on technology to a business venture with a clear market positioning and a well defined go to market strategy.
Thank you Lori and Ben for the great work with the local arrangements in Pittsburgh. A big thank you to the CMU-Portugal team for promoting this initiative and believing in Displr as a startup with global potential.
